You can distinguish the 2 departments by the seals on their sleeves. Austin’s seal is white, green, & yellow, while UT’s is yellow and burnt orange.

This is exactly the question we need to be asking. Freezing our city in amber through restrictive zoning was a huge mistake, and low-income Austinites are paying the price.
Home owners should have the option of gentle density on their own property. This is not a radical change.
My question for those opposed to allowing more homes per lot: if not this then what? What changes do you suggest to help affordability in Austin? Our current zoning is only producing $500k plus homes; the status quo is unacceptable.

1. José Garza doesn’t meet the law’s definition of a rogue prosecutor.
2. The RP law shouldn’t exist in the first place.
3. Prosecutorial discretion is the *entire reason* that DA is an elected position.
