Last night a tall white homeless man chased my friend w/machete at Robert E Lee (I still call it that) and BSprings while he was in his car. He and the driver behind him had to uturn on RLee and fled in fear. Is this guy out already?
Seth Gott survived an attack by a man with a machete in Austin. Doctors have reattached his hand but more surgeries are coming. I’ll have his interview today at 5

Situation last night in Barton Hills was a white female resident that got assaulted in the back of the head by a black male w/hoodie while walking through the neighborhood 8pm. My people kick it down there. It is a new time now.

Agree w this but I would add that there is one very cheap way to get mode shift: take away space from cars and give it to bike/peds/buses. Mode shift isn’t all about light rail. If dozens of streets in Austin are given the Barton Springs treatment, there will be mode shift.
