Illustration for @TheUltideics! The Ultideic Prophecies: The Storm Beneath the Glass coming out in April 2025. I started using a program called Rebelle, which simulates traditional painting very closely, you can see a lot of realistic paint strokes in the mountains especially.

Musical Irish Fantasy. These were a treat to work on, Marla is a composer and the audiobooks for these have a full musical score. The magic system is tied deeply to music and so I attempted to show that through the wind and the instruments. Currently workig on book 3!

I did this a couple of years ago, still one of my favorite pieces: elder dragon. It started as a rough little dragon head sketch, and slowly turned into the biggest dragon I have ever done!. Prints available on my website for this and my Malazan and Locke Lamora work.

All this talk about going to college. I was accepted into art school. As I was preparing to move I saw the graduate portfolios. They looked extremely amateur, so I said fuck that and focused on studying on my own. I started working full time a year later at 21.
