Wow!! This PR Box for The Devils by @LordGrimdark sent by @gollancz is absolutely amazing! Thank you! I’m chuffed with all the items but especially these character art cards (illustrated by Joel Daniel Phillips) are stunning! And the candle! Can’t wait to delve into that proof!

US publishers sometimes don't do a hardcover release at all. Funnily enough, the First Law has never been published in US hardcover, only trade paperback.
@LordGrimdark I was just thinking about this. I'm in the US. I pre-ordered your book and Richard Swans new book. Swans book was only available in paperback and yours only in hardback. Is this just publisher preference?

Sadly it's not unusual for Australia to get the trade paperback instead of the hardcover as standard. Easier to ship. A strange idiosyncrasy of the publishing business that not much of the printing is done in Australia.
@LordGrimdark It looks like your publisher is not releasing the Hardback edition of The Devils in Australia ðŸ˜(I contacted a local bookstore to pre order). They said they can order the Hardback edition from their American wholesaler.We are only getting the paperback UK edition in store here.

@LordGrimdark Your first three books were so good. I wish you'd created a separate series for girl power, socialism and gay blades. That way you could have kept up the Conan like energy of the original series.
