Writing advice is asinine. Kill your darlings? Wrong. Nurture them. If anything give them more wordcount. Show don't tell? Tell that shit. 'John was evil.' Done. If it's boring to write it's boring to read? Utter nonsense. 3/4 of a book is grind. Probably more.

Finished my edits of EMPIRE OF THE WOLF 3 yesterday. Always a mixture of emotion in completing a trilogy of novels, but I think readers will be very happy with the conclusion.

I see the fanfic discourse is rearing its ugly head again, so may I add that it is literally my job to edit and acquire SFF books, and some of the best writing and some of my favourite authors are fanfic. anyone who says that fanfic writers aren't real writers is clueless
