This project is especially special to me because @YiningCao3 was my very first mentee as a postdoc ^^ and it was my first opportunity to finally get to explore the domain of data visualization and animation. (she's wonderful and her work is wonderful. please take a look!)
Creating an animated data story is tedious and fragmented. Our #CHI2023 paper presents DataParticles - a language-driven system for visually exploring, reasoning and communicating data insights. Shout out to my collaborators @HaijunXia @janee424 @ZhutianChen.
