I don’t think you quite understand how hard it is to get gender affirming care. You have to get checks from therapists, doctors, surgeons… let alone the price is absolutely insane. If you think children are getting reassignment surgery you’re clearly very uninformed.

Dude of course I feel bad for her but there’s around a 1% regret rate with reassignment surgery. Blocking all other trans people from being happy as their true selves just because one person regrets it is actually insane.

Knee surgery has around a 35% regret rate and yet I don’t see that being banned anywhere. A 99% success rate with any other surgery would be seen as a miracle. People hate gender reassignment surgery because it helps out a queer minority.

more good news: my blood test came back normal. If the CT scan is clear I can go ahead and get a colonoscapy to determine if I have any smaller cancer and if that's clear they'll continue to test to find the source of my pain/issues
