WHEW yeah. Ex BF and I loved each other so much that it made it so hard to realize we were becoming incompatible. Slowly drifting apart but still so deeply entrenched in one another. By the time we realized anything was wrong, the relationship was basically over.

I think that part of loving him so deeply is realizing that us being together would only hurt us in the long run. In some ways it makes it better. In other ways, so much worse. I still miss him, but I'm strong enough to know we made the right choice.

A lot of things in retrospect. He developed a resentment towards me because I was unable to find a job to support myself while in classes, so he was supporting the both of us, but he never told me as such until the end. But it was also the fact that he stopped communicating too.

Truth be told, I didn't want to break up. But I wanted to do it first before he could break my heart. That meet up turned into an hour long discussion about what went wrong and why. At times we bantered like old friends. The last hug we had, neither wanted to pull away. It hurt.

I spent a lot of that last month trying and guessing what he could want, because anytime I asked him he said he was okay, and that he loved me, or whatever else I needed to hear. Only once I sat him down and made him tell me what he wanted did we realize how bad it was.

We decided on a break. I didn't want to move back home, but I knew we needed space. That space help me see the writing on the wall, and after a few passive aggressive texts on his end, we met up in person and split "amicably".

I literally can't imagine fluttershy OR pinkie any other way. Pinkie being off the walls and goofy, and fluttershy being more comfortable on earth made a nice contrast to RD and AJ who are closer to the cultural standards of their kinds.

This all only happened at the beginning of the month, I'm afraid. Its still raw. I'm still learning how to stand on my own two feet again. But accepting that things will hurt for a while and you need to just work through it one day at a time means every day is a victory.

- unlined paws are better than lined
- Minky doesn't look good for "skin" details, fleece is so much smoother and less slippery to sew
- on that note, there's more fabric out there than fleece/minky, use it
- realistic suits aren't much harder than toony, just different styles
