I wouldn't celebrate the "Cloti kiss" if I were a Cloti. Why? In FF games, protagonists involved in romantic relationships always have intimate scenes portrayed through stunning cutscenes, and it's always a part of the storyline. (1/2)

Asked about the kiss at the end of Tifa's date, Toriyama says it's something fans have only been able to imagine till now, so they carefully considered how explicitly they could depict the visuals. He also says he felt a little embarrassed watching it as an older man. (RbU, 2024)
