Is poetry "elevated language" (Joffre Swait) or "concentrated excess of language" (Peter Leithart) or "a language of pictures and music" (Matt Whitling)?

Similar experiments with plants. iirc Church music and certain types of classical were found to accelerate growth, whereas punk and metal were the worst of all, actually inhibiting it. Ironically I find itโs reddit atheist types who refuse to think โmateriallyโ about music.
