When are they going to be held accountable?
Just imagine if that had happened to an American, French, not to mention Israeli pregnant woman. It would have been headline news - rightly so - everywhere. But not so when a Palestinian 8-month pregnant woman is shot dead. Then it is not newsworthy...

Someone promoted because of Brexit insanely defends Brexit.
Kate Hoey "Why is Keir Starmer rushing to be the first prime minister to have dinner with the EU 27 since we left" Oli Dugmore, "Because they're our largest trading partner" @OliDugmore Kate Hoey, "So what" Oli Dugmore, "And we have shared security and defence interests" Kate Hoey, "You can individually deal with each country, you don't have to treat them as we're still in the European Union" When your anti-EU hate ideology makes you want to be less productive ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Wise words as always. When will our government have the strength and will to do the obvious?
Five years since we left the EU and not one tangible benefit to have come from it. Most telling of all is how it has diminished our ability to generate wealth and thus provide for our defence and public services in challenging times. Far from getting rid of red tape there were 41 million customs declarations to be made for trade between the U.K. and EU in 2023. Not surprisingly over 16,000 SMEs have given up exporting to Europe and our goods exports are rising at the paltry rate of 0.3% per annum compared to the OECD average of of 4.3%. Margaret Thatcher helped create the Single Market in goods and services because she could see clearly the boost it could give to our economy and it bore fruit. Until reality dawns for our politicians we are back to the 1960s-constant failing initiatives to boost growth, stagflation and impoverishment. We deserve better and it is within our power to get better. But that means abandoning the politics of fantasy.

I do hope Farage and every Brexiteer watches this interview the madness of Brexit laid bare!
GB News, "Surely Brexit is a good thing?" Andy Dixon, Fisherman, "It's been bad. The exact opposite. It hasn't worked out as the government promised.. Locally, in North Shields, it's been a bit of a disaster" GB News, "In what way?" Andy Dixon, "Red tape, documentation, it's 100x what it used to be" GB News, "What about we can have our own fish and we don't have the EU fishing in our waters?" Andy Dixon, "It hasn't affected us locally" GB News, "Can't you charge them more as you are no longer shackled by the EU pricing structure?" Andy Dixon, "No, because they can buy the same product from within the EU" GB News, "Did you vote to leave?" Andy Dixon, "I was a Brexiter, and I voted mainly because of the red tape"

This is so right on the money!
Robert Peston, "Businesses want you to join the Customs Union and the EU Single Market. Why won't Labour do that?" Rachel Reeves, "Because we're going to deliver on our manifesto promises" Robert Peston, "Prime Minister Keir Starmer says if its good for growth you'll do it, if it's bad for growth you wont. This is good for growth" Rachel Reeves, "I know it's unusual for government to stick to their manifesto commitments but we will.. We're resetting the relationship to help British companies export to the EU" Rachel Reeves and Labour are now the anti growth party. They are putting ideology ahead of what's right for the county, our economic growth - Boris Johnson and the Brexiters must be laughing their socks off

And a young, certain Cliff Morgan at fly half!
They beat the Alll Blacks. This was the Cardiff team. in 1953 captained by the great Bleddyn Williams. that triumphed 13-8 against new Zealand at the Cardiff arms park. My teacher Sid Judd ( front row 4th left ) started me playing rugby, he was a great player, @Cardiff_Rugby
