Any chance of replacing the single glazed windows in my kids student flat with electric panel heating @patrickharvie ? Or maybe double door entry in Waverley station for example so the heating doesn’t just go out the open door? Or less carbon footprint by electric transmission..?
I'm seeing some claims floating about here that the Scottish Government has "banned" woodburning / biomass heating. This isn't true. I've seen people worried by these claims, thinking they'll be forced to rip out their woodburner! No, you won't.

@_KateForbes Seems like another made up Scot gov justification for covering our landscape with pylons and turbines to produce 8x Scotlands requirements. Only for them not to be needed and companies to profit from contraint payments. Scottish people are waking up to this con.

@ScotWays Our objection was responded to saying they are needed for safety reasons, utter rubbish. All new phones have satellite capability and most places you can find a wee signal not too far away…you just can’t stream Netflix 🙈
