After attending an overhead wire that had came down and making the repairs, our engineer, Cen, assisted one of our customers remove a fallen tree from their driveway. Despite the windy weather, our engineers are out 24/7 to help!👏

In association with #LlamasInternational we’re now trialling a travelling Llama petting zoo in our Southern Region. Llamas have been proven to calm humans, so we think it may be effective to allow our customers to pet the llamas while we fix our larger faults. #NoDramasJustLlamas

Last night we had a call from a customer who advised their child's toy had ended up in our substation. Knowing that retrieving it themselves would be dangerous, they called us. Our engineer, Stuart, came to the toy's rescue and delivered it safely back to the child.🐶

The storm-force winds of Eunice fell an 80ft spruce tree onto our power line near Chichester yesterday. Due to the tree's size and location, it was a highly complex job to remove it with each team member playing a key part in the operation.

#StormBabet UPDATE: We’re making good progress in response to this severe storm. As of 8.45pm, we’ve restored power to almost 32,000 customers.  Work to reconnect 2,800 more continues. We’re doing all we can in very challenging conditions to repair network damage.

During Storm Eunice we have received support from our local resilience partners, including humanitarian response charities RE:ACT and ServeOn, who have been working alongside our customer support staff to carry out welfare visits to vulnerable customers.
