Another night in an incredibly busy A&E for Josh who is awaiting having scans read by the specialist. He’s sitting up to 30 degrees now so he can eat a little. Hopefully we’ll have him home soon. Thank you for positive messages. Keeping everything crossed for a speedy recovery.x

So proud of my brother, sad it wasn’t on his terms but a wonderful jockey, incredible career and walks away (just!) in one piece from a tough sport. He’s the hardest person I know. On to the next chapter now, will always admire him. Most importantly, a brilliant dad 🥰.

I am sad & upset to say that Josh still hasn’t had his operation needed to stabilize the fracture of his vertebrae. Let’s hope & Pray that it takes place tomorrow. He has been hoping since Tuesday that it could’ve been done. The NHS is worryingly slow. Josh is understanding.

This has to be listened to. Think about jockeys driving to the races & that journey. Let them get to the racecourse & have facilities there for them to carry out their job. They only do it before they travel otherwise. This makes no sense at all. At least bring back the saunas.

Totally agree. Heart in the mouth moment over the second as they went on such a long stride! but beautiful jumping throughout as usual. Winning a Grade 1 when still claiming 3lbs which isn’t allowed to be used is some achievement too. Great horseman @niall_houli well done team 👏.

Jockeys will often be slated and moaned at for rides like this that don’t come off, you have to be so brave to do it but sometimes riders know how horses have to be ridden to get the best out of the horse in a race and this is a great example.
