THEY CANCELLED KAOS. WHAT IS THE POINT OF STARTING ANYTHING ON
@NETFLIX
ANYMORE. THEY CLEARLY ONLY TAKE ON SHOWS TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS AND MONEY FOR THEMSELVES AND DON’T ACTUALLY INVEST IN CREATIVES GIVING THEIR HEART AND SOUL PROJECTS TO THEM
So stream Man’s World by MARINA. As well as the album Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land. She also did several versions/remixes of this song including one with Brazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar
@safetynetlover2
You don’t know that person is a man. And even if they are it’s showing how even men, especially those who don’t conform to patriarchies oppressive standards are left out or hurt by “a man’s world”
Something tells me Marina may hate my tweet tho. I wasn’t really attempting to push another woman down just to prop her up I was more wanting to show an actual feminist anthem vs a performative one for comparison. I’m criticising Katy as a person/artist for her choices.
yeah wow it’s almost like alicent has generational trauma of a dead mother and a manipulative and distant father and rhaenyra had loving parents and was doted on as the heir so she knows how to show love when alicent doesn’t no matter how much she clearly shows inside
I FELT YOU IN MY LEGS BEFORE I EVER MET YOU, AND WHEN I LAY BESIDE YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME I TOLD YOU: I FEEL YOU IN MY HEART AND I DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU. AND NOW WE’RE SAYING BYE, BYEEEE
I feel like a lot of people could really benefit from watching Big Mood staring Nicola Coughlan rn if they want to know more about how Bipolar disorders can affect someone before they go speaking on Chappell
just realized that Lestat becoming a rockstar in S3 means he's going to have to have a MANAGER. and a PERSONAL ASSISTANT. can you imagine a worse job on earth.
@hashtagcatie
Like she is literally so sweet with fans (and here’s an example of the hypothetical you gave too 😂). People need to understand Chappell is her drag persona too, she’s entitled to privacy and not have to be performing that character all the time for ppl
the way their eyes soften, how are people reading this as anything other than feeling happiness for a friend but also the bittersweet heartbreak that comes with not being able to share that happiness. emma d’arcy I am so sorry your acting is wasted on a dumbass audience
rhaenyra having this reaction to alicent's liberation is so beautiful to see. she watched alicent suffer through it all and she never stopped caring. she genuinely loves her
@crushsong
It’s especially rude of them the way they seem to take issue with her phrasing when English isn’t her first language. You can see she’s trying to find the right way to phrase it and instead of just understanding what she quite obviously means and responding politely they mock her
@puddleofdoodle
Marina’s pop has always been so clever in that. I love how here she notes how it’s all interconnected. A patriarchal/imperialist world holds down oppressed groups as well as literally killing Mother Nature
@agneswickfields
I feel like it’s a 90s kid thing in every century cause I was born in the mid 90s and the amount of changes to technology I’ve already seen in my lifetime. like the drastic change of 90s computers to iPhones
I’ve been burned so many times like I expected this but it shouldn’t be the norm. They’re clearly only letting shows be made to have more content on their platform and then more subscribers to watch these “new shows” but then the investment is over after that. I hate this.
I don’t think they’ll age as visibly as vampire casts in the past bc they weren’t cast in their early 20s and aren’t playing 17. ageing in your 30s to your 40s isn’t as drastic a change as going from your baby face to your saturn return face lmao
you laugh but this sent lestat into a 77 year depression eating rats like it was ben and jerry’s after a breakup and plucking away at a wooden keyboard. louis knew this would work
@cupidyohane
I say this as a woman who gets periods, there are more important battles to be fighting and a drag queen pretending to have a red wine “period” in a song called red wine supernova is not misogynistic. you can think it’s crass and vulgar but it’s not misogynistic
@JazzNightV
@LESTATSLOU
I could be wrong here but I think it’s the beats of the dialogue. TV often leaves room for both actors lines to be heard and the other character reacting even though what’s more natural is what they’re doing here with talking over the other. That’s more theatre show like
@saintgender
no but it’s also so impressive bc there is a slight variation in his accent in the dubai scenes. his nola accent is muted by armand and it’s very pronounced almost general american. it switches back when he goes back to nola at the end

@hswift_
“the black dog” is another name for depression so I feel like that‘s her admitting she still cares and is watching him go through it but not being able to do anything bc it’s not her place anymore
@sommermaane
Bisexual men are always assumed to be “secretly gay”, bisexual women are always assumed to be “faking it” and lesbians often told they must just have “not met the right man yet”. It’s the misogyny inbuilt into society that people can’t comprehend others not always centring men
@MrsJellySantos
She got in touch with the only other family who’d lived there and the daughter said they cremated all their pets and was going to speak to the 90 year old parents. Not long after that update the cops seemed to find probably cause to send the dogs in….

@brokencapillary
Americans don’t think about the fact they have a similar history with the indigenous people there too. Sure the language is different but I’m prett sure it’s similar with stolen gens of native americans. They often get left behind in the discussions of racism in their history
