I assumed it’s because peter was INSIDE the casting circle with him and he kept talking and altering the spell (by making mj and ned and aunt may exceptions) so he told him to stop talking as in STOP ADDING STUFF while he was performing such a difficult spell
I THINK THEY DELETED THIS SCENE FROM RWRB BECAUSE NICK MIXED UP THE WORDS HERE?? BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE ALSO HAD SEVERAL TAKES CAUSE THIS IS DEVASTATINGLY BEAUTIFUL
i don’t think we’re appreciating alex’s vinyl collection enough for me. he also has his favourite music albums framed up on the wall in his room?? god he’s so cool
say what you will about nick galitzine but that man is a pro at looking like he’s been through 3 divorces, lost the kids in all of them, broke as hell, landlord at the door, pathetic as fuck by acting JUST WITH HIS EYES

i just noticed that during the v&a scene henry is staring fully at the statues but alex’s eyes always drift back to henry… and it’s making me wanna d-word
my theory for this cakegate scene:
alex is hiding his hands behind his back so I think he accidentally gets his hands in the cake BEFORE henry comes to him. probably from a scene meant for laughs. he’s anxiously bickering with henry while also trying to hide it but because it’s

thank you! yeah it was the shot of him deliberately rushing INTO the circle before it closes that made my brain go OOP THATS PROBABLY IMPORTANT

it was guillermo del toro’s pan labyrinth (2006) that has the longest standing ovation at 22 minutes!! haven’t watched it but it’s a classic that also won 3 oscars
Got so powerfully aroused at the blooper clip of the toothsome young man from the rw&rb movie tossing that girl up and catching her like it was nothing that I locked up and keeled over like an old Damascus goat. Thoughts and prayers

I think the standing ovation at cannes has become a tradition though and the longer it goes is just more appreciation for the film, the art, the cast and crew, all the work put into it
yes, some things could have been fleshed out. but I honestly don’t care about that. the movie is out and it’s gorgeous and has so much heart and love placed into it and i am taking it as its own thing, as an experience, rather than letting my brain think of small critiques.

nick’s agents trying to push his distinguished actor and model look, just let the man publicly be a goofy little weirdo. a little jokester. a silly lil guy.

During the SAG-AFTRA strike, actors will not be allowed to:
• Film any movie & TV productions
• Take part in any press junkets or film premieres
• Promote anything at SDCC, and will be advised not to attend at all
i also think the trailer was shot and spliced so fast that it looks like he grabs the cake purposely to slap it on henry but this man looks genuinely FROZEN and he just wouldn’t do that 😭😭
firsprince and they thrive on chaos so he gets so worked up he forgets he’s hiding and then lifts his RIGHT hand which already has just the frosting on it (rather than the whole big ass piece of cake in his left HELP) and claps it on to henry’s shoulder. i still think
THREAD: comments a reddit account made about the longer paris scene in rwrb seen in the early march screener!
disclaimer (screenshot): this person’s been getting a lot of attention and unfortunately much of it demanding or negative so let’s just wait to see what prime does 🥺
we’ll be getting part of the book version with them accidentally pulling the cake to fall down onto themselves because you can see the table is on its side in the promo picture. also if i’m wrong then i’m wrong 😁✌️
for the people confused: screwball comedies refer to like taking the classic rom-com/romance tropes and subverting them and challenging them by adding humour, satire, sarcasm, witty dialogue etc. along with the sophisticated romance becoming popular in the 30’s and 40’s
“Stylistically, the movie is going to feel like some of the old movies from the ‘30s and ‘40s, like a Howard Hawks, like a Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, that kind of screwball comedy.”
