Last month, I passed 3k miles on the bike. Most of those have been my commute. I’m extraordinarily grateful to have made this transition out of the car. I get to see wildlife, experience the seasons transition, enjoy fresh air. It’s added a lot of joy to my life.

My Mayor didn’t skip the line for his street AND cleared his sidewalk. Hot damn.
And here’s my street, 6th Ave N, which isn’t a primary/secondary route. It’s very unlikely to get plowed before things thaw.
I shoveled my steps + enough of my sidewalk to allow mail delivery, but NDOT doesn’t have sidewalk equipment, and we don’t have laws for personal removal.

Metro Parks this week moved to shut down nine e-bike stations operated by BCycle on Nashville greenways, an escalation in an ongoing battle over e-bike usage in the city.
