SSRIs and all other SRI antidepressants can permanently destroy a patient’s sexual function (PSSD). The pharmaceutical companies knew this was possible back in 1987 and chose to hide it from doctors and patients. There are still no warnings in the US.
#PSSD has been known about for 35 years, yet patients still aren’t being warned. @DrDavidHealy discusses how drug companies and regulators were aware of enduring sexual dysfunction following discontinuation of SSRIs as far back as 1987.

@TomasSjoblom Tai ainakin niin, että joukosta erottuisi ne joille määrätty mt-dg:n perusteella, ahdistuksen ja masennuksen voisi myös eritellä. Olisi myös kiinnostava nähdä paljon määräyksiä on eri hva:lla per 100.000. Lisäksi kiinnostaisi määrääjät, erityisesti yl:en ja psykiatrien osuus.

@AnnukkaMeronen Katsopa näitä kokemuksia. Aina löytyy kuitenkin tutkimuksia, joiden mukaan masennuslääkkeet ovat hyödyllisiä. Mutta tämä kokemustieto on mielestäsi ohitettavissa?

@MikhailaFuller @Sly_Botts Actually even a short exposure of 2 weeks can be very dangerous: you can permanently lose your sexuality and emotions. It’s called PSSD. In some of these stories only a short exposure caused it.
