Bored stiff with politics. Giving it up. Think I'll write a Novel; probably Sci-fi bordering Fantasy. Got an idea for a storyline, just need to flesh it out.... and learn how to write. Can't be too difficult, can it?

@avocet2 @tomhfh @TWBFarms @Tesco @peterdonaghy So if NZ didn't ship them half way around the world they'd produce even less CO2 and if UK Production increased to fill the supply gap the economies of scale may help in the drive for UK producers to become more energy efficient.

Like you say, pure imaginary. Meanwhile in the real world Musk & Trump are saving families, just like the imaginary one you've described, billions of dollars in taxes by applying some basic household thrift to government spending. Splendid, eh?
Imagine having 20 years of admirable service under your belt and a 19-year-old with no government experience decides your position is "wasteful." And now you, at age 50 with two kids who are still in high school, are out of a job despite being a top performer and doing everything right. I gotta think even Trump supporters are feeling some kind of way about this.

@FreddieBailey96 In Spain they don't pander to non Spanish speakers at public expense. Some businesses may find it beneficial to, but if you need help with officialdom or health services you pay for your own interpreter.
