Weird, I always publish a video within 60 minutes of uploading the file. I generally don't include hate-speech or clips from other people's content though, so that probably helps.

Yes, I've found that empathetic people ARE often better artists. The process of creation is calming and meditative. Painting minis is healthy for the mind and the body. Kindness and creativity are clean fuels, they don't leave scars in the way that hatred does. Have a great day!

Some of the bigotry surrounding the great cooties-in-warhammer debate of 2024 is so obvious that even modern "free speech" and PIB twitter won't look past it. Living with so much hatred towards fellow human beings really isn't healthy.

No-girls-allowed for space marines has always been really, really dumb in Warhammer 40k.
It’s even dumber in 30k where there are no tau, no eldar on the table, and no sisters of battle. The most prevalent female models in the Horus Heresy are the “Sisters of Silence.” Ooofff.

Campbell brought up a great point that I hadn't heard yet in the past few weeks- The "Lore" of 40k used to be called the "Fluff." I can't remember when the word "Fluff" faded out, but it was relatively recently... Fluff changing isn't worth popping a blood vessel over.

1) Speedpaint “reactivation” is real. In some circumstances, the thin layer of paint/wash can be damaged with a wet brush.
2) “Reactivation” has NEVER been a problem on my desk. It has no effect on 1-coat painting, which is what the product is marketed for (and how I use it).

Black Prime/ White Prime/ Black plus white zenithal/ Black plus white drybrush. I often choose to add a quick zenithal to my primed minis because it's a fast way to make the mini much, MUCH easier to see. Drybrushing is also quite useful, but is more time consuming.
Zenithal highlights are still such a scam painting tutorial pumped out by youtubers needing content.
So many people unshakingly convinced its useful because they've never compared results.
Shamefully shit advice.

Let’s say a 24 ml bottle is discontinued and replaced by an 18 ml bottle, and the price remains constant.
Yes, the quantity is reduced by 25%, but the price per ml has increased by 33%, NOT 25%.

Great post, and good start! The tone of 40k was always SUPPOSED to be satire... but the satire gets lost in a lot of the marketing materials, books, animations, video games, toys, etc. Protip: don't make Funko Pops out of fascist characters.
