Assertiveness-training: What are your questions? I've taught one person (my wife!) how to become pretty assertive. It's a super useful skill. And I don't mean rudely assertive. I mean, still feels both nice and kind, but also not pushover. Liked *and* respected. Qs?

It does feel weird that markets still close - everything else went so real time that it still confuses my brain.

This would be a good bootstrapped business. Record, save and catalogue ads. Allow marketers to subscribe. There’s a similar business that sells to designers — all it is: screenshots and videos of existing apps, designers subscribe for inspiration. Marketers would do the same.
i don't think people realize how hard it is to search for ads
they're not indexed anywhere, collected anywhere. they're shown all the goddamn time but you can't actually study them or even share them. how bizarre

Thank you! Basically am hoping for something like gpt4o voice. Native low latency tone input/understanding and tone output. When I tried it, tone understanding was inaccurate. Was a while back though. Will happily watch any new demo videos or use any new demos!

My experience is that embeddings feel like GPT-2 and we need GPT-3.5 or GPT-4. Just not good enough in their understanding. Needs to be more dimensions and based on a smarter model.

My preferred framing of boundaries: boundaries are statements of future consequences. “Hey, heads up, if you do X, I’ll do Y.” Delivered neutrally and peacefully. You’re just telling them the rules of the video game.
I think many people here are thinking about “boundaries” in a way that is incorrect and potentially harmful. Please let me know if I’m saying this in a way that makes sense. 🧵

It’s due to lack of emotional regulation skills - they’re dysregulated so they seek things that are chaotic in an attempt to get regulated
It might be interesting to examine why people don't simply focus their time and attention on what they want to see more of, because it's one of those things that literally just improves your life full stop, no tradeoff required.

Yes, rate of adaptation. One measure of AI: in which areas does it learn new skills and to solve new problems faster than humans do? When AI adapts faster than us, strange times ahead.
Intelligence is not about memorizing all the answers. It's about how you adapt when you're faced with something you were not prepared for. It's the ability to learn on the fly and quickly pick up new skills.

Intuition loves running experiments. Listen to when your intuition is calling you to try something weird — good chance it has a bigger plan in mind, and wants to start small to help you/it get practice and motivation and confidence.
