Earlier today, I had the privilege of addressing District Speakers from across the country at their annual general meeting in Wakiso. I commended them for the vital role they play in the governance of our nation and pledged to do my best to address the concerns they raised about obstacles to their work. I am truly honoured by their trust in me as their patron.

The issue of addressing the need to get more Women in Leadership remains a topical.conversation that remains relevant in the Governance sphere. The higher you go, the lower the numbers. Concerted and deliberate investments in changing the status quo.
