I love the fact that Mia’s dad is alive in The Princess Diaries books, but when the creators of the movie told Meg Cabot they were thinking of killing him off because they wanted to cast Julie she was just like “OMG YES KILL HIM”
Some people were always meant to meet, meant to be in each other’s lives. In every lifetime, in any form. Whenever they meet, it’s never their first time meeting; their thread has been unspooling since stars bled themselves to make us.
After an embarrassingly long time, I’m finally delving into the Sound of Music content that came along with the soundtrack rerelease. Here are some of my favorite photos from the book that comes with the 5 disc boxset (1/3):
I don’t want to go into the office tomorrow, I want to be on a mountain in the Austrian countryside with Julie Andrews teaching me how to sing

Haha it’s fine! It’s not like I memorised the sound of your laugh. It’s not like I traced the constellations of your freckles, made wishes upon your stars. It’s definitely not like I looked at your heart and saw a place to rest my soul. That would have been silly.
No but during the Sound of Music opening credits when the instrumental transitions from My Favorite Things to Something Good…that rewires my brain chemistry.

George Clooney with his "pain in the butt mate" Julia have incredible chemistry. Christopher Plummer &Julie Andrews hated each other on Sound of Music, but gosh they had chemistry! Rock Hudson & Liz Taylor has chemistry. He was gay! Anthony in Bridgeton also gay.
