How to grow a Facebook group to 50,000 members fast (works for pages too) FB does not offer group ads, but you can run (really cheap) like campaigns to your page and then invite all the new followers to join your group. Here's how 👇

@FilledWithMoney Average household income in Vancouver is $97k CAD (before you get rekt by taxes) No problem here...

@natesiggard @Austen Yeah because Tiktok is a great alternative

@niconley Yeah but then you need to hire an army of moderators to do that By using community notes you have the users doing the moderation, you get the ad money and we get lolz
0

6
@niconley Yeah but I think the question is more "do you even want them on the platform?" Probably hurts trust towards all advertisers on here I'm more likely to continuing downloading apps from ads if they're actually good

Similarly to FB ads, X uses an ad score in the auction: Resonance: Are people engaging with your ad? Do they click, like, and/or Retweet it often? Relevance: Do your Tweet content align with your audience’s interests? Recency: Are your Tweets fresh? Twitter is what’s

@Guerrero_FJ #1 You do not know that for a fact and that would be true for all A/B testing software #2 Even if true, a lot people (including me) do not care how the landing pages they use in ad campaigns rank

I'm starting to think I should build a free alternative to Optimizely now that Google Optimize is dead and just offer SiteVariations as an upsell

Moved all my ad spend to Twitter, other channels are uncompetitive at this point $1.36 CPM $0.32 CPC ~10% CVR

I'm surprised no ad network is defaulting accelerated spend on when using bid caps. In theory should be a win for everyone. The only reason this is not happening is because they don't have enough faith in their own modeling, right?

Reddit should monetize comments/answers instead of the feed - similar to Quora For example: if I google "best headphones reddit" There should be a sponsored answer at the top of it. Such valuable traffic the CPMs would be stupid

@0xngmi @PumpkinBiscotti They're probably cloaking, traffic that they think might be from reviewers gets sent to the real website so it's harder to crack down on it. Same thing is done on FB ads

Probably should build a bot that auto pauses your FB campaigns when Shopify is down. Could actually do this for any critical service to minimize wasted ad spend

@natesiggard @Austen FB has supported a genocide? Fb has thrown an election? Stop blaming the plumbing for what passes through it. Are you mad at the telephone company when people use it to do fuck up stuff?

The main Twitter ads downsides are: Much more management is needed than FB mostly from audience/creatives dying quickly. Ad approval times can be long First day spend is wasted pretty consistently from burst spend (daily budget spent in 10 mins).

I've hired VAs in the past to help with sending the invites. As a reminder each person you add as an admin will be able to send 200 invites/day The average CVR I'm getting for invite sent --> joining the group is ~30%. You can acquire group members in the US for ~$0.06

The shift to free mints seems so obvious cause nfts are perceived as having tangible value even though they are digital and cost basically nothing to produce. In web 2 you do free trial -> user In web 3 you do free mint -> user

@jeff_goldenberg In most cases 0, our variations are winning ~80% of tests launched on Keak. That said, the amount of traffic needed to reach statistical significance can vary a lot depending on the level of certainty you want to reach and the performance difference between variations.

We're done fine-tuning our new base model for variations. It's nuts - better than me at improving CVR and I've been doing this for ~10 years Available next week

@Tons_0f_fun @iamshackelford @zachmstuck We built this: 1. AI generates website variations (can do headline, copy, CTAs) 2. A/B test is auto launched 3. Data from your test is used to fine-tune your model 4. The process is repeated as soon as your results are statistically significant

@StephNass Variation A is an action Variation B is a description Also, headlines with numbers in them tend to do well

Teams are live in Keak! You can now invite team members to your Keak account and collaborate on A/B tests with them. This was one of the most requested features so we're excited to get it in your hands!

FB version is working, you can connect your ad account to: Generate variations of Headline, copy and ads for FB ads Choose which metric to optimize towards (CPC, CTR, Cost per sale, cost per click, cost per lead ect) The system will then start automatically launching new

@ron_ecomm @TaylorHoliday What are you searching on google vs gpt? I noticed that most of the things I use perplexity/gpt for are queries that are hard to monetize. My guess is that the real pain to google will happen when that changes

2. Run like campaigns for your page The CPA on like campaigns is CRAZY LOW (>$0.02 in the US) because of how sneaky the ad format is (the fact that there is essentially 0 competition probably also helps).

There's no way Google is going to kill their golden goose by removing the need for users to click on sponsored and organic links without them being confident that they can capture a similar amounts of ad $ elsewhere/later And the chances of that happening must be close to 0

Twitter ads are so crazy, you can target ANY keyword even if the audience is only 30 people big. You can directly go after your competitors and you'll pay ~$3 CPM in the US FB has never allowed anything close to this My CPM, CPC, and CPA are much lower on twitter too
