I just want to clarify something. Sunbird *lied* to Nothing. They said messages were end-to-end encrypted. They were not. Sunbird knew this because they upload stuff to Firebase.
Nothing should not just "delay the launch." They should cancel the whole project.
We've removed the Nothing Chats beta from the Play Store and will be delaying the launch until further notice to work with Sunbird to fix several bugs.
We apologise for the delay and will do right by our users.

But Sunbird logs messages, pretending they are errors.

The changelog also contains a mention of "Gemini Apps" which seems to be a way for Google to gather Gemini "web" and Gemini "mobile" under a same name.
And in case you are curious, Bard Advanced will be Gemini Advanced.

So, I was part of the OnePlus 8 Pro closed beta. I'm now allowed to express how bad it was, from the beginning to the end. OnePlus isn't worth more than 2 tweets now. So to sum it up:

The first thing Nothing should do is remove the app from the Play Store. It's hard, but it's the only solution.

Another issue is with the file names. All of the files are stored with the original names. And the name of the file can become a problem, if, for example, it's the URL of a page (pdf, screenshots...) Or if it clearly states that it's something confidential, sensitive, or private.

None of the M3 libraries allow such control over animations, unfortunately.

After digging into getHistogram for both devices, and the functions calling getHistogram... I noticed this.
The first image is from the Pixel 3 XL, while the second is from the Pixel 4 XL.
On the Pixel 4 XL, there's a new parameter for the function peekWallpaperBitmap.
