The "overpopulation" story is intended for middle class consumption to create internal conflict over nothing. They are given the threat of becoming the poor, whose carbon footprint is nonexistent, yet whose existence is somehow at fault for "the climate". Funny how their game is.

Karl Popper is a loathsome human and "falsifiability" in his system is a ridiculous farce that literally makes science impossible, which he says with a smug face. It's disgusting that this is ever allowed to enter any discussion. Anyone invoking it should not be allowed to talk.

All defenses of capitalism today are defenses of Social Darwinism, explicitly on eugenic lines, that the market arrangement will defend the naturally unequal social order and that this is a good thing (at least until the market says the rich have to suffer).

My pet Roman conspiracy theory is that a lot of the deeds attributed to the "bad emperors" are really the rot of the republican aristocracy that was stripped of their political power, and they pin it all on a young emperor like Caligula who was brought into their perversion.

I still don't get how "New World Order" is a conspiracy theory when Poppy Bush said it on global television, and Kissinger bragged "there's a New World Order, alright!", and Novus Ordo Seclorum is on the back of every damn US $1 bill.

It's so strange that people talk about Americans' high living standards, when most of that income is sucked up by taxes, rent, medical (insanely overpriced), and education (nothing more than a racket to gain access to employment, maybe).
