@Evan_Yeats @billyez2 It’s a shame you are powerless to prevent getting traffic tickets. If only there were a way to avoid them completely. One can only dream.

@rafasanchezcruz @wusa9 This same thing happened in my neighborhood of Hill East. It shocked my dog at least twice. Finally Pepco fixed it after a neighbor said something to a guy working on something unrelated.

@DCDPW Several weeks back the leaves were collected on our block. They did a great job. They did not collect the bagged leaves. Is DPW no longer collecting the bagged leaves?

@RosinaPhoto @recallallen @theHillisHome @kdrkrepp @G_Pem I think you enjoy the attention. Why else retweet a post from 9 months ago?

@maustermuhle I think it depends on the school. Unless they unified it, it was done at each school. I think some were more strict than others. They were very particular at our daughters’ school.

@JimHavard @capitalweather Now that you mention it, I think she commented you had a carry out bag. Wish I could have pulled you in for a beer

@CharDreizen I saw a video on social media once on how to remove the peanut butter. Simply put a squirt of dish soap, a crumbled up paper towel, fill halfway with warm water, put lid on, and shake the heck out of it. Removes most of the peanut butter fairly easily.

@MattLaFortune @311DCgov I’m shocked it took this long for someone to mow down one of those signs.

@BDanBerger NAFCU used to be a client. Thankfully we moved off as part of merger. Not that it’s my problem now.

@JohnCochran4 @dcwater @DDOTDC Remember 17th north of Potomac like 5 years ago. I think every single utility torn the street up, then repaved, only to have the next guy do it again. You’d think they could coordinate better.

@citymom92 @theHillisHome Aatish? Or restaurants in general? It’s essentially littering. I like Aatish, but this makes me not want to dine there anymore. There appears to have been zero effort to get them on doors/porches.

@fedex one of your drivers was driving aggressively on 600 block of PA Ave SE in Washington DC at 12:50pm today. He also yelled at my daughter and I for legally using a cross walk while on our bikes. Do better!

@mainman410 @MattLaFortune We tried to get the Potomac Ave metro (about 3 blocks from here and 2 from last week’s murder) designated as a Safe Passage site. The mayor’s office declined it. Not sure what threshold of crime we need to hit to get a Safe Passage site … not sure I want to know.

@the_dadchef Love mine, but I’ve moved to preferring thick steaks reverse seared on my Kamado grill. I think the hour or so smoking at low temp imparts more flavor yet still leaves a pretty large margin for error (not overcooking.) I still think flank steak is best sous vide & finish on grill
