@Clint_Davey1 I never liked those SPI games in which Napoleonic brigades just pushed each other back and forth, and now I've figured out why :-)

@TheNagaraen That's 10mm? FDM printed or resin?

@TheNagaraen I looked into printing some, but I only have an FDM printer and the ones I found (on Thingiverse) didn't seem very FDM friendly.

@ScythianB I looked at some of the Green Skin sets but I couldn't really find a set of adventurers. Also most of their figs come in large groups, so I'd end up having to buy 120 figures to get a set of 10 different figures. I might use them if I start collecting monsters though.

@osgamer74 One thing I like about 3d6 straight up: we play with quadpacks, four starting PCs per player. We have about ten players, so 240 starting stats. This means that there's about a 70% chance we have one eighteen at the whole table. That eighteen ends up feeling really special.

@Tomi_Tapio I just hope that they don't take 8 weeks to get here. I've had two overseas purchases held up in customs before. Ideally I would use them for this Friday's session.

@JoeGKushner They did not have what I was looking for in the 10mm scale. Lots of 10mm armies, but no variety of skirmish based fantasy. I might try eBay again at 15mm.

@JoeGKushner Alternative Armies shipping is only $15. That's not bad either. And the Internet says I can comfortably use a 10mm base on a 15mm figure, so that solves the 4 to a square inch question, I think.

@JoeGKushner They have a good selection and a good price ($1 / figure) for real fantasy figures. I'm going to go see if I can find my box of Napoleonic 15mm and see how well they fit 4 to a 1" grid.

@JoeGKushner The restriction for a US company is just that I don't want to order $200+ worth of stuff and I don't want to have to pay overseas shipping on a $20 order.

@Tomi_Tapio The only thing I found on Noble K that was reasonably priced is a set of barbarians (or something like that). It would work well for the fighters/thieves, but nobody that looks like a wizard or cleric.
