About to teach a class about the invasion of Poland in 1939. 10 years ago I would be saying things like: "Poles used cavalry against tanks." "Poles never stood a chance." "Poland gave up quickly." Now I'm teaching it slightly differently. Some key facts I'm going to include:

@StCrad Incredible. That was a brutal battle and the Poles fought admirably. I am amazed that they were willing to fight on so many distant battlefields, far from their homeland. Their own country was occupied but they were still willing to die to liberate someone else's.

I suggested a 40K COIN game yesterday, and a few people pointed that there's not much actual insurgency in the 40K universe. But there seem to be two things that look very much like insurgencies in the Imperium: -Chaos Cults. -Genestealer Cults. What do you all think?

It's possible to become a millionaire in the board game industry. Here's how. 1. Come up with an original and innovative game idea. 2. Play-test thoroughly. 3. Pitch to the right publisher. 4. Market the game effectively. 5. Inherit $1,000,000 from a deceased relative.
