@unusual_whales I support a change but I'm completely against executive involvement in the Fed. This is one of the worst suggestions from Trump that I've heard.

@sweatystartup Learning Spanish has been a superpower. I'm selling complex enterprise software to global capital markets firms. When I meet an exec that is hispanic (there are many), I speak or email in Spanish when I can and cut through the noise they deal with daily. Builds instant rapport.

@moseskagan Someone in the neighborhood of my rental property put bamboo in their yard. They now have a forest with bamboo shooting 20-30ft in the air. Itās spectacular but Iām so glad it hasnāt traveled to my property yet. Itās still a few blocks away.

@creromans The goal for most companies is to make the top salesperson the highest paid at the company. Happens in every industry. If you screw a salesperson they just leave to where they are valued. Why would you ever stifle top line growth?.

@unusual_whales Is it the economy or simply the student loan programs? This is trying to turn it into a partisan issue. If student loans could be expunged in bankruptcy like normal debts, lending wouldn't be as abundant and schools wouldn't be free to raise tuition by absurd amounts each year.

@SMB_Attorney Unfortunately this is common. How you lay people off speaks volumes about the company. If this was a RIF, communicate that. If it was performance related then it should be her boss having the convo with her. Anyone getting hired in Q3 for enterprise sales should not be.

@unusual_whales Taking politics out of it, I think any intellectually honest person can agree there are monopolistic traits of all of these companies. I feel like there are legit reasons for breaking these up to increase competition and innovation, but how do we also open M&A/pub markets?.

@KobeissiLetter Great thread. Inflation is cooking so why not pause. Wouldnāt the market be happier to see the right decision vs the fed feeling like they need to keep a promise? Might spook equities temporarily but the fed would have more credibility.
