Obama actually carved out the money in the last spending bill specifically for Flint. Not just Obama, but Schumer, Pelosi, etc. work was actually done. Much of it was compromise with folks like McCain and Flake and Graham to increase military spending.

We are the only country on earth with an education system that accommodates every child under the age of 18 regardless of anything they’re facing. There’s no obstacle to a K-12 education in this country, and I’d argue that it’s one of the things that actually makes us great.

No, there is some of that, sure, but the real reason is that we educate everyone. Literally everyone. The US is 1 of 1 in the world in that, because of the ADA, we literally educate people with severe mental disabilities and the poorest people in the country without question.
