I may not have known Bob for as long as many, but I'm convinced I owe him an immense debt. His kindness, wonderful humour and deep joy in what he did relaxed even a 21 year old prone to anxiety. There was never any pressure, any complaint, just positivity and support. I miss him.
Gloucestershire is saddened to hear BBC commentator, Bob Hunt, has passed away aged 70.
Bob covered Gloucestershire for many years including during the 90's and early 00's when the club won six finals at Lord's.
The thoughts of everyone at Glos are with Bob's family & friends.

Sadly, having never had the chance to watch him, my personal abiding memory of Mike Procter was his dramatic call of that 1999 WC semi.
There can't be many other players who have left behind more memories, and whose legacy is still felt so keenly at a club to this day than him.
