Some remarkable icicles were formed along the Lake Erie shoreline near the Miller Ferry dock in Catawba Island, Ohio during the recent freeze. These photos were taken Saturday. The icicles no doubt melted after Sunday’s temps rose above 40 degrees. More warmth is expected today.

We're dog owners again. His name is Baxter and we adopted him from the pound this afternoon. He's beautiful. He's a year old and very sweet, even a little shy. We still haven't heard his bark yet. The pound calls him a German Shepherd mix, but I think he has some lab in him, too.
