I am in mexico now, and am finding the prices of fruit and veggies is more expensive in mexico than in the usa. You are getting a good deal, do not ruin it by tarrifs taxing the people in america.

My concern as a canadian, is that there is not enough media on how much drugs are being caught at the border by the canadian and mexican controls. And to commit to increasing the caught rate. That is the solution

@JustinTrudeau I wish that was true. I have met several people on this site who are convinced that canada is an open sieve, and tons of drugs and illegals are going through the border, and they also think that we are not doing anything about it. Justin, please publicise on the media the numbers

@BenRabidoux False, canada put 1.6 b$ into border security, and the fact that only 1% of the fentanyl comes from canada, far more from mexico. So obviously mexico is doing more because they are more of a problem. Plus canada is trying to work with the usa .

Continuation of last message, i bet elon, or even myself could go through a typical supply chain and trim down some of the duplicate items in the millitary or other government without dropping basic requirements.

I am hoping elon will work on the us millitary procurement process. We hear of the 1200$ toilet seats. Use the same process used for spacex. Procurement specifies general requirements, and then let the contractor figure out the cheapest way to do it.
