@LozzaFox So many deluded people. So every state who voted Biden is fraud, but all the Trump votes are genuine? Democracy wins over fascism. Close call unbelievably, but that's how democracy works.

@Alienwife99 @SkyNews As the father of a child who was perm Xd, I can tell you that sometimes it is for the best. Some children need a very specific setting and trying to keep them in mainstream has a devastating effect on staff, other children and the parents as well.

So, having gone 2 years in school without contacting Covid, I manage to get it on the second day of the summer holiday. Family holiday to Crete, booked two years ago, now gone, most of the money probably lost.

What a send off by my school. A fantastic assembly, loads of thoughtful gifts and nearly £500 donated towards new books for the school library in lieu of presents by the parents. Handed over the keys and laptop and now time to adjust to the new normal.

Only two weeks left before we roll again. Who knows what next year will bring. Difficult to believe it can be harder than the previous two years, but what those two years have shown us is 1) anything could happen and 2) school staff are bleedin amazing and can (and will) cope.

@Councillorsuzie To what extent do you defend them when they are wrong? A major issue in schools today is parents defending children and attacking school for imposing sanctions, even as slight a missed playtime, because their angel is never wrong. Not a healthy preparation for real life.

Admired a beautifully drawn and coloured wooly mammoth in class today, and the y5 pupil said, 'when colouring wooly mammoths, it's OK to not stay in the lines, it makes then extra hairy'. The most poetic thing I've ever heard a child say! So I wrote her a poem...
