Like, one doesn’t need machine learning to do a minimax analysis. Whereas, all I can see in top Google hits is some forecasts without a clear methodology attached to them. See for instance what @nytimes has to offer. Why forecast when the range of a function would suffice?

I have to add that each U.S. state is entitled to at least 3 electoral votes as far as I know, which is a necessary assumption for my 53 - k < 51 logic to work.

Let me know if I’m getting the U.S. electoral math wrong. But if my line of thought is correct, I would really love to see a dashboard like that in all of the top Google hits so I didn’t have to count. If you know any dashboard that does that, please share a link. Appreciate it!

Also, to be fair, I was crying about this as early as 2018: That is a fun log of my trying to reproduce search strategies from systematic reviews on thoracolumbar fractures (among other things I did there). I didn’t bother to publish it elsewhere, though.
