hey @CRED_club, you may reject my application for the flutter role, but my code will live rent-free in your app!. thank you, some other time : ).
Just landed my first @dart_lang contribution!. Introduced Iterable.withIterator - a new factory constructor that lets you create lazy iterables from existing iterators. Perfect for working with partially consumed sequences, see the example.

@CRED_club If you're hiring for flutter/mobile, I've built @folksable, I have packages with thousands of downloads and contributions in flutter & dart sdk's. this is not arrogance, I'm just marketing myself.

my AWS bill to run @folksable last month. you don't need big pockets to change the world, just start.

2023 was the year of "Founder Mode" for me, I was building @folksable day in and day out. what kept me going was that found early signs of PMF, I was getting emails and phone calls at 3 am (from US) reporting bugs, and people were actually using the app and coming back every day

It took me 2 years from idea to the early sign of pmf:. Why i’m sensing an early sign of pmf:. 1. Most of the growth is coming from people referring their friends to their rituals. 2. 104 are 5 Star Ratings out of 106 total. 3. Getting a lot of emails & dms from users.

@Aditya45210l Those two are general niches with these qualities:. 1. Has lots of jobs in US/Europe where Remote hiring is not uncommon. 2. Has a decent size community where a student can interact and learn from. Web3 is still a small niche compared to above, but huge potential in coming years.

@skathirmani this advice is for tier-2/3 uni’s where the situation is even if they studied really well placement is uncertain, . my advice is to get into a niche tech that’s highly in demand in U.S/Europe and apply for Remote Jobs.

the @folksable h.q. got a tiny upgrade, this chair arrived today, this better fix all my problems 🥹. i hesitated to get a good chair until I wasn’t able to sit and work on @folksable for 30 mins straight without getting hurt.

my first crisis since founding @folksable. 13 days of runway left. earlier last year we got into gcp for startups, $2k for 2 yrs and i had setup alarms of a particular sound for 2 weeks before it expires. alarm went off yesterday. i thought it was the end, and this happened

@dart_lang the biggest learning that came out of this is that "you can just do things", . the code you see when you cmd+click is just by another human no different than you, you can change it, you can influence it, just cmd+click repeatedly until you find the truth.

you just turned 21, and a multi-billion dollar tech/entertainment giant is suing you for jailbreaking their flagship gaming console. and the obviously immediate rational thing you'd do is to sing a rap song and upload it on YouTube. this is @realGeorgeHotz

@_svs_ I've built @folksable indie-style (#1 product hunt, used it 120+ countries, 4K users) built with flutter, nodejs and PostgreSQL, other than that i also maintain few popular open source flutter packages on pub, I'd like to explore this role, check dm.

spent the whole night in front of cpu profiler, looking at heap-dumps, gc events, raster timelines in @folksable. i realised recently the app perf became almost unusable on android. enjoy this update that makes app run like hot knife on butter… 🧈

if you don’t know yet, you can just shake your phone and start typing with natural language input to create a new task from anywhere on @folksable . i’m really proud of this, i do this on subways and girls walk up to me and ask what i just did.

my goal with @folksable is to make productivity more fun and approachable to millions of young people who feel left out by the current enterprise-oriented solutions. it doesn't feel like work to me, it feels like I'm doing my dharma, the righteous cause within my capacity.

my peak productivity setup,. this is where most of the work @folksable gets done, i don’t if it’s just me, but multiple displays often distract more than they improve productivity.

@luke_pighetti @FlutterDev @expo expo is a for profit company, they have a profit motivation for the industry adoption of it’s product, they offer cloud services for react-native. flutter doesn’t offer any profit motivation to google at it’s scale.

@commentedcodeX @CRED_club you didn’t get the point here, . It’s a bait to collect more hiring leads for myself b/c im too lazy to apply 100s of times, also it’s a test to understand who i can work with based on if they think that I’m being smart/marketing or childish for complaining.

@svembu Thanks for inspiring me we don’t need to be Silicon Valley or Metro City to build great software products, . I’m building @folksable, alone from a rural village of india for the world, with an unstable electricity & on limited mobile hotspot internet.

Today I'm proposing a new Dart language feature: . `String.splitMap`: a generic string method inspired by splitMapJoin in the dart core library. found this issue left open by @hixie from 4 years ago on dart-lang/sdk repo, so I decided to implement it last night.

remote config is such a saver when doing migrations, . in a snap, all the @folksable users are now being served from a server that is thousands of miles apart from where it was yesterday and nobody notices 🚀.

@kevin @ARTIFACT_News looks like @googlenews got some competition, .wondering how content moderation is handled, and all the problems that come with content serving/matching issues that are core to all social media that get them into trouble.
