So far I completed adding Rectangle & Text elements in my graphic design tool with basic controlls.
PS: Ignore cursors for now. flutter doesn't support all the cursors in macOS yet.

One of my very old apps but this time solved many bugs related to IOS.
Fun fact: I was too lazy to build UIs in Figma with fake data so I directly implemented it in flutter without designs and it took me days to create a single page.

Building Craftor in Flutter took so much effort. and I'm still halfway there to complete it.
few challenges I had while building it.
1) creating a resizable container by dragging controls.
Took me weeks to figure out the maths behind the resizing and moving box with rotation.

The new Desktop app we have been working on.
it shows the cursor to highlight and keystroke highlight also if you like the mechanical keyboard sound we have added that too.
built-in flutter is available for windows and macOS.

Here is the second app after refactoring. changed the backend API with the new one. and it used to crash & lag while playing audio, IDK maybe because of too much load on the main thread while rendering too many images.
PS: The data comes from the custom backend built-in nodejs.

Flutter [ughh emoji], displaying 6 MB image in the app ends up taking 700mb in memory. after adding cacheWidth and cacheHeight it still takes 400MB.
if you store Uint8List instead of the raw Image, app's memory will be normal 140mb. I need hell of optimisation for my app.

- figma: i try to put on the screen what is my mind
- backend: i chose db n framework, schema and data modeling first, i would create some endpoints and test it in the postman
- frontend: i spend too much time here if i don't have designs
frontend has more priority

- WhatsApp

- Discord
- MS Teams
- Slack
vscode, postman: I still use them.
Instead, I use their web apps because they are built in Electron and they eat a lot of RAM.
And I need RAM because of docker and emulators.

As I Promised I open-sourced the gradient maker for flutter.
Now No more limits to predefined Alignment enums(topLeft, bottomLeft ...etc) - by dragging controls get generated FractionalOffset to control the direction!

All the functions and classes on the right side to find it faster. enabled autohide minimap and changed the activity bar position to the top.

and I can say that flutter does a very good job for Android, ios, and macOS, and I would primarily use flutter to build apps for these platforms.
(but I'm still exploring macOS)

life is hard without keyboard shortcuts! not anymore bc I added a few.
hover in a timeline to see the preview at the duration (it uses the .seekTo function) to improve UX.

I changed the video player package from media_kit to fvp, and seeking to position became super fast. before it was very slow with media_kit it used to take 1 sec of buffer every time I seek to any position. yes, I created a new issue on the lib.

Adding the video went smoothly too!
PS: media_kit is an absolute beast library for video playback in flutter.
The test was successful. now tomorrow I'll try bringing video files and showing thumbnails on the track.
