Intensivist aku pnah assign MO (turned out aku) utk bawak keluar patient yg dh almost 6 bln dekat ICU utk keluar tolak patient spjg corridor. Stop & interact with people dekat corridor utk kurangkan delirium. Spjg jln patient senyum. spjg dia tgok langit, spjg tu dia nmpk amazed.
Therapeutic technique in ICU Tg karang. Pusing katil let them see the world to reduce delirium, reduce stress level after 8 days ventilated/sedated

Happened again recently, I’m oncall and they’re passing over macam ni. Senang je I dropped everything I was doing, quit the online system(for writing review), and walked to the pantry and had a hot cup of coffee. Lantak what they wanna say

Aku rasa KKM kena buat satu pathway latihan baru untuk yang ada intention buka GP. Bagi MO buat rotation every 4 months ke dekat department yang crucial macam medical, KK, paeds, ED and O&G. Supplementary mcm surgical (procedure circumcision), and radio (basic scans).

Benda yang merosakkan KKM adalah unrealistic KPI without even looking at the real current facilities and staffing state. So much so looking forward, but the supporting people behind are crawling tired. Strengthen the core and moving forward will be no fuss!

I think we all shouldn’t be so defensive. Discharging a patient with vomiting for home surveillance actually really very risky. The attending should have provide more options (i.e AOR and go to private/other hospitals) because frankly yes people would give no bed as an excuse

i was once kena tangkap gambar and given to pengarah and they made a huha until HOD just for wearing a scrub. picture was taken discreetly by a sister. gosh i don’t understand this thing to be made an issue. scrub is the greatest thing to wear in line with our work requirements.

attitude boleh nampak dari houseman lagi actually. my first posting, this is the first thing that my MO in ortho highlighted. You can always chade the knowledge and experience. But attitude is not easy talk.

Attitude terhadap rakan sejawat.
Skill dan ilmu boleh diajar, attitude tak elok ni sangatlah susah.

Interesting question. Our healthcare system is like our vital organs - without each, we can’t function. Therefore, it’s not easy to just go out and someone will come there and replace you miraculously can function. Some skill sets doesn’t come within weeks. Some even years.

Why money is one of the concern in healthcare?
1. We are so under-facilitated that we have to save up on giving quality goods i.e good decent branula, and some medications, infusion pumps, beds, ultrasound machines, PCA machines.
