I really hate how the Lowry era in Miami played out. He deserved better as an all-time great and Heat fans never accepted him He wasn’t the savior they expected him to be, and he aged quickly in a Heat uniform

Miami is still going to be fine, regardless. They were never supposed to be as good as they’ve been over the last four seasons and they’ve won a lot. That may happen again this year. But I still think a move or two to shore up obvious areas of weakness (PG/PF) are necessary

In potential playoff matchups with Damian Lillard, Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, etc, Delon Wright is a good option for Erik Spoelstra to have on the roster I wouldn’t expect him to start but he’ll be a contributor on a team that has made the most with who they have available

I don't want to even mention it because it just seems so ludicrous to me, but does anyone actually care about Boston's "only lost two quarters" thing? Does that matter? If you lose them in dramatic fashion, the game swings dramatically. Isn't that how it always works?

After challenging himself to be more aggressive on offense at the start of the season, the Heat are 20-10 in games in which Bam Adebayo shoots at least 15 FGA and 12-5 in games in which he shoots 18 FGA or more He scored 30 points on 12-of-22 shooting vs. the shorthanded Celtics

The more I consider it, I think I understand why it’s the better decision for Jimmy Butler to shoot that 3 with 16 seconds left. No guarantee what happens next or if you get a better opportunity to win. He earned the right to take it and it was a good look

Per source, Portland has remained disinclined to engage Heat in serious trade discussions on Lillard. Blazers acting disinterested about dealing him here. One would think Blazers would get serious about this at some point, but they're still not engaging Miami in negotiations

I think it's relevant because I think the Celtics are the better team by a meaningful margin, and that the main reason they're down in this series is a lack of focus/beating themselves. To me, the quarters-thing underlines that point.

Rewatching last night’s game and Bam Adebayo’s aggression early in the 3Q is what really stands out. It’ll get overlooked with Jimmy’s big night but Bam was incredibly impactful to close that 12-point deficit and give Miami their lead

If/when Kyle Lowry returns, I think we see his impact later in the series Time isn’t usually kind to players his age, and what is needed rest tends to become more like rust. As a playmaker, he should be fine (which is okay!), but he’s not providing a huge boost in scoring
