ax has now reached 800+ stars. seems seems small in the scheme of things but it's how all things start. it's hard work, coding, evangelizing, helping folks use it. i'm convinced it's the best framework to build llm stuff with so i'm willing it into existence.

@simonw I built Super Graph a GraphQL to SQL compiler in GO. I wrote it cause I did not want to deal with SQL. How would you write the query to fetch the data for this below GraphQL? Only 1 SQL query allowed. Also topics is an int array column on threads that is related to a tags table.

@simonw Super Graph compiles all GraphQL queries even nested inserts and updates into a single SQL query to keep things efficient. Sorry had a hard time exporting the image download and zoom to read.

I'm really excited to share the first DSP based library for prompting and working with LLMs in Typescript/JS. I'm a huge fan of thinking of prompts as programs and creating typed prompts using a simple notation called "prompt signatures" has been a game changer for me.

When you need full-text search people often reach out for Elastic or something which is fine if you want to babysit a giant java app. Why not just use Postgres you trusty database that you're already probably using.

@bindureddy i've been building llm powered workflows since days of bert. hard problems need to be broken down into classification, extraction, retrieval, summarization, etc using independant contexts. error correct, examples, assertions are needed for guidance. also no json, yaml, whatever.

A task queue is a very common piece of any production infrastructure. Before reaching for another service to handle this consider using your existing Postgres database. At 10K writes per second it'll fit most peoples needs.

One big misconception out there is that a relational database like Postgres is slow. Postgres is fast very fast! 1. Scan 1M rows per second 2. Filter 5-10M rows per second 3. Aggregate 2-10M rows per second 4. 10K inserts per second
