Growing up we didn’t have much, but I always had a safe and secure home. For too many families, this isn’t the case. Our Plan for Change will make the dream of homeownership a reality by increasing the number of affordable homes to provide security for thousands of people.

@meena77531087 @mtpennycook @AngelaRayner I’m not sure why the insurers are to blame. If car bumpers were made out of barbed wire then maybe the insurance premium would be higher. If buildings are made out of combustible materials then maybe the premiums will be higher too.

@gamecounsel @TenureFreedom @HarryScoffin Builder should be ultimately liable for building defects, and ultimately responsible for meeting regs. Building control should be a check, but not relied on.

@gamecounsel @TenureFreedom @HarryScoffin How in terms of transparency; better record keeping and documentation of amendments to plans and inspections, and the full record completely available. I shouldn’t have to be a detective to understand how my building was built and what has been approved when.
