Paediatric NHS waiting times are much worse than adults - 44,066 are longer than 1yr (1 in 6 compared to 1 in 100 adults) Dorset numbers are particularly poor. @RCPCHtweets I challenged the minister on this in Parliament today

Hereβs my speech in the debate @NFUtweets @NFUDorset
After a great visit to a farm in the Purbecks last week & alongside the latest Westminster tractor blockade I am hoping to speak in Parliament during the Westminster Hall Petitions Debate on the need to mitigate & modify plans on Agricultural & Business property relief

@JohnRConstable @Bournemouthecho What a horrible thing to happen. There are some lovely people living at TM & they are blessed with a gorgeous location. We need more good news shared about their community ethos to counteract this & stronger action taken against those who are violent or intimidating

@MattSimpsonEcho Council tax rises are in line with all councils. We have to buy a few at a time otherwise we end up like the prev Tory bournemouth with a whole fleet replacement and massive borrowing or selling assets to fund it

@pntnrgn @NeilForPoole They were heard during the oral sessions & the bill is clear about who will be eligible IF THEY WANT IT. Disability is NOT a criteria.

@pntnrgn @NeilForPoole There is no debate during this session about fox hunting. What has been done in previous parliaments is irrelevant β¦ or I could add the previous debates on assisted dying 10yrs ago and before that. This is long overdue, has public backing & I will continue to vote for it

I have also backed this -itβs devastating for parents to be facing such difficult times, trying to do so while worrying about keeping a roof over the families must be horrendous. We must do better for these families
I was proud to join fellow MPs from across the House in support of the @ItsNeverYou22 Campaign for #HughsLaw I hope that the Minister listens to this appeal, led by Ceri & Frances, and puts in place the change that parents deserve. #Somerset #Devon #ItsNeverYou #Campaign

@spanna65 Iβm afraid I donβt know. I suggest you ask your doctor if you have concerns but you should not assume that they do not have the appropriate expertise, they may well be the right person to assist

appalled that govt failed to update Parliament in advance of it being seen on social media. Elections should have gone ahead giving people the right to decide who designs the mayoral authorities Whilst LGR can bring benefits retaining identity of communities must be prioritised
EXCLUSIVE: More than five million lose the chance to vote in local elections this year. Elections cancelled in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Thurrock, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire and Isle of Wight - replaced with elections to new unitary councils in 2026
