While it’s a nice to have it is not necessary given the utilization level of the Lagos international airport. FGN cannot afford the investment required in the Aviation industry. We have a unique opportunity to leverage the aviation assets we have to inject about $5b in 2 years.
President Tinubu has approved the upgrade of the Ibadan Domestic Airport to an International Airport.
The airport, which is located at Alakia in Ibadan, Oyo state, had never been upgraded since it was built in 1982.
The airport is expected to be upgraded with modern facilities

Lesotho is landlocked within South Africa. If the Biafra territory is negotiated and the borders respected there should be no issues. They will negotiate the right to use Nigeria Airspace and water ways at a fee. Anything is possible if negotiated and agreement respected.

Even though diesel and Jet A1 have been deregulated for years I expect to see an increase in cost of transportation modes that use Diesel and Jet A1 as a result of the push effect of the fares based on PMS transportation modes that acted as floor and increase in remuneration.

That’s the ideal but not always the case. We used to have Mechanical booms at most of the level crossings or men with flags. LASG has done a lot to minimize interaction between train and vehicles. 3 flyovers at ikeja, mushin and Yaba. This was just unfortunate

Many people do not realize that the International Airport is a Federal Government facility that generates very little income for Lagos state (only PAYE of workers). The airport itself makes losses every year and takes subvention from the FGN.
