I would like to think I would sit and wait til he runs some errands or goes for a walk. No-knock warrants make no sense to me in situations where gathering evidence isn't necessary. Even then they are troublesome.

I think he wanted out, and this is the cleanest way. Friends and family will be supportive and won’t ask what went wrong etc. It speaks for itself. He’s doing an 80s fist bump in the air and then freeze frame, fade to black. Happy movie ending for him.

It’s a wierd situation. I would be 25 and meet someone I like through purely organic reasons (hobbies etc,) only to find out they’re 19. No thanks too young. But then at 30 I would meet someone who was 24-25 and the gap didn’t seem as large to me. Now at 40, 33 seems young!

10 years ago I saw a girl on the subway with packing peanuts in her hair. Our eyes met and I said “excuse me but”, she cut me off immediately snapped at me to leave her alone. This is one of many reasons I do my best to avoid women in cities. Not worth the headache.
