How did Periyar help me? As a child I loved Ganesh a lot. 6-7 years old. And the "Ohh my friend Ganesha" added. Even Krishna (I related, love for Dairy). I liked Kali and Durga, Parvati and Shiva. Ganesha the most. It wasn't even prayer. I saw them as extended family. Very tender
