I’m a former teacher. I can’t imagine any school not telling the parents he had to leave and that he would not be allowed back until they found mental help for him. Reentry conference showing he was not a danger to himself or others.

I’ve never voted for a Republican for President. I knew women who did, and got it, kind of. They were more conservative than I was. But when it came to Trump, I’m still scratching my head at women I knew who voted for him. I don’t speak to them anymore.

I lived in WV during HS and college. Manchin has done nothing to help the average West Virginian. Manchin receives at least $500,000 per year from the coal industry. He’s hugely compromised and has no business in Congress.

Oprah W. gave many people a platform, most of whom have made positive contributions to society. Iyanla Vanzant, for example. I watched many of the first episodes Oz appeared on. He talked about health issues affecting many Americans, as I recall.

Virginian here. Youngkin successfully scared parents with nonexistent CRT in the curriculum. And parents fed up with school closures due to Covid. In VA you can only serve one term as governor. Youngkin is running for president, in my opinion.

I was taught by nuns in grade school. I’m also a retired teacher. I had a child, but some of the best and most inspirational teachers I worked with did not. I find Vance’s opinion not only weird, but very troubling.

The Heritage Foundation and other groups have said they will file lawsuits to keep other D presidential candidates off the ballots. I will vote blue no matter who, but ballot chaos probably ensures a Trump win.

I’m older. A teen when I first learned my mother couldn’t get credit in her name. Was lucky enough to have parents that didn’t indoctrinate. Two conservatives raised a liberal. My mother and grandmother were strong role models, and I’m grateful for them.

I agree. He should not have known where the keys were. I’m torn in situations like this. On the one hand, he’s a kid. On the other, he knew where the lockbox keys were, got the gun and killed his mother. He is a danger in society.

I agree. But there is a documentary called The Brainwashing of My Dad that shows one woman’s father’s change. In this case, it was right wing talk shows he listened to while going to work. It’s several years old now, but interesting.

When I learned that 55 percent of white women voted for Trump in 2020, I was floored. I’m old enough to have seen what a racist, misogynistic man he was in the late ‘80’ and beyond. The few women I know that vote Republican can’t tell me what qualities they like in Trump.
