There is no issue. It makes money. The talent should get some of that money. I would rather it just be pay than this weird NIL system but the leadership of college football decided to stick their head in the sand and ignore what was going on so this is what we get.

Next level recruiting department fuck up
Miami players did not exactly walk into UF’s recruiting section: Florida inexplicably put the section between the only two sections officially for away fans, right next to the Miami tunnel so that when Miami hosted a victory party on the field with fans, recruits could join in.

for me it is. I am a huge Dolphins fan but my mental health every fall depends on the fortunes of 18-27 year old kids playing for the Miami Hurricanes.
Cant explain it. Cant justify it. Just is what it is.

I also think you would be surprised how many skills you develop with general education. What is the real world? The world I live in requires basic math, reading, critical thinking, problem solving, etc.
You don't take a problem solving class. General education has value

Difference between WSU and Miami’s o-line. Less need for hero ball and Cam has taken a step up with his poise in the pocket. Blitzing him is a mistake and there isn’t a team on the regular season schedule that can get pressure with just their front four

The last part is idiotic. Only the local interests it benefits disproportionately. It’s not a local vs national issue. It is a small state/swing state vs everyone not there issue.

The problem is that the Department of Education has almost nothing to do with on the ground education policy so saying this kind of exposes that people don't even know what they would be abolishing or reworking

I don't think it is a coincidence that "lower immigration" as a major platform plank attracts a lot of racists. The thought leadership folks sell it as an economic issue but it isn't for Joe Public.

I think it is fair to say through the first two weeks, he hasn’t been great at the role the fan base thinks he was brought in for.
