The Speaker announced in Lok Sabha today that translations of proceedings is being made available in 22 languages including Sanskrit. Translations, are most welcome for languages that are official state languages. Can you tell me which state has Sanskrit as its official language? Why is taxpayers' money being wasted on a language that is not even communicable? It is not spoken in any state in India, and nobody uses it for communication! As per the 2011 Census, only 24,821 people supposedly speak Sanskrit. When this data is available, why should taxpayers' money be wasted to further the RSS ideologies?

Raised questions to the Ministry of External Affairs on the steps taken to ensure the return of the Indian nationals still trapped in Russia, particularly those forced to join the war and those classified as "missing persons", negotiations with Russian authorities to expedite the release of these individuals, whether any legal channels have been explored to ensure the early discharge of Indians forcibly inducted into the Russian Army and the manner in which the Ministry is verifying and confirming media reports regarding the deaths of Indians and the steps being taken to recover their mortal remains.

This is the condition of the #AirIndia flight (AI537 Delhi to Chennai) I travelled in today (07.02.2025). Usually it’s only the seats that are stuck or broken, this time it’s a door! That too the restroom door. Privatisation was supposed to make the airline better, but guess it’s down the gutter literally.
