Certainly, Imām Ibn Taymīyah had errors in both aqidah and fiqh.
Nevertheless, the Imām of the Hanafis of his time Badr ud-Din al-Ayni, who lived in the same century as Ibn Taymīyah, wrote:

Yes, the book is very well known and Ibn Jama'ah also had a clear stance and clearly positioned himself as an Ashariite. But both Ibn Jama'ah and Ibn Taymīyah knew that BOTH were advocates and defenders of Islām hence the mutual respect and love for each other

It is more like the Prophet had the Hadd punishments carried out.
